I was reading the Psalm that went long with today’s Jesus Calling devotional about the beauty of worship…and listening to “The Love of Jesus”.. Just wanted to say again what an incredible song that is. I have not been able to stop singing it since I sang with the band I think three weeks ago!! I read Donald Miller’s blog today, www.donmilleris.com and to sum it up… when we meditate on how much God loves us, we tend to love others selflessly, and that the best thing we can do to love others is to think about God’s love for us and live in the overflow of that truth….Thanks for such  a powerful song to do just that..meditate on God’s amazing love!!

Even If Not is one of my favorite songs of yours. Let’s face it – there are lots of praise worships tunes out there. But this one, to me, is more for those introspective, the-crap-is-hitting-the-fan type times. It reminds me that even then, even when things are going badly, I have so much to praise Him for. I really have had you on my mind so much today, I decided to just write a quick note of thanks…I really appreciated your song “The Love of Jesus” and the scripture you read from Romans 8 but to be completely honest, I was distracted by the role God’s asked me to play of ushering and lately it’s been quite a challenge to find seats   But honestly, all day yesterday and then again today, I found my self singing (often out loud…ugh) “How high…how wide…how deep is the love of Jesus!!” It was so “singable” and simple and yet sooooo deeply powerful and rich. Thank you for directing my thoughts towards Jesus and His incredible love…

Just wanted to say thanks for a great concert at Good Shephard in January. I don’t know if you remember me, but I was the “Emotional” one who could not even talk. I told you about my brother in law. He had a brain tumer, and had most of it removed, is on kemo and radiation. He has stunned the doctors with his success, and he says that it is all in Gods hands and he must have a plan for him to keep him going. I gave him my CD with your song “Strength of Angels”. He found it very comforting, and really liked all your other stuff too. Just thought you might like to know that your music does touch people, and gives them comfort and strength. I really love your songs, especially “Closer To You.” It has been one of my constant prayers, that even though I know I am in Christ, most of the time I feel that I am so far from Him.  Thank you again for the music.
