Wow, what a weekend we had in Harvey Cedars, NJ. We played a retreat at the Harvey Cedars Bible Conference and had an unbelievable time of worship on Friday night, Saturday morning & night & again on Sunday morning. The crowd was fantastic and we thank you guys so much for worshiping openly, honestly & unabashedly. Really refreshing. So good to hear so many people singing at the top of their lungs, crying, kneeling & just enjoying being in the presence of God. I’ve had a few requests for the set lists from each night. Ahhhhhhhhhhh it was AWESOME.
I’ve been going through a lot since July 2011 when my older brother was diagnosed with lung cancer and lost his battle in January. The great thing…I was able to speak to him about Christ and was able to lead him to Christ. THEN…once that chapter was closed, my 87 year old alzheimer’s mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. She had surgery in April and is currently undergoing radiation. I’ve lived with mom for the past 5 years because she can’t live alone…shouldn’t live alone…and now I have an issue with high blood pressure and today just took off a heart monitor I had to wear for 24 hours!
But this past weekend…OH MY GOSH…it was the “let your hair down and worship” kind of weekend. I promise you, it was wonderful listening to the voices behind me as they worshiped, but honestly, I was alone in that room. It was just you guys, me and the Lord…an audience of One. It was such a great weekend of worship…it was like a baptism. I was immersed and put to death all of what has happened in the past several months and came out of the water refreshed and anew.
THANK YOU SO MUCH for you and your band for being the vessel the Lord uses to usher in His spirit. Oh my gosh…it was just so amazing. I was on cloud 9 and I still am.
