CONNECTING THOSE WHO NEED HELP FROM ADDICTION TO THOSE WHO CAN PROVIDE HOPE

What started as a song has been transformed into a rally cry for recovery and addiction groups in the Northeast, claiming "There Is Hope" from addiction.

The "There Is Hope Movement" began as a way to provide hope and healing for those seeking help from addiction. As part of the movement, Dave's sister Lori started making bracelets with the statement, "There is Hope,” on them as a simple way to encourage the journey of recovery from addiction.

Since then, thousands of bracelets have been sold and given to those in recovery, providing encouragement and spreading the message of hope. Many have said this simple bracelet has given them the courage to pray when the urge to use becomes overwhelming.

This movement took on a more personal meaning on Good Friday in April 2017, when Dave's nephew Ryan died of an accidental heroin overdose in Dave's basement. Ryan was only 27 years old. An avid fisherman, he loved his family and wanted nothing more to help others. His struggle with addiction was a disease he just couldn't beat.

The "There Is Hope Movement" continues today in memory of Ryan and others who have lost their struggle with addiction. We work in conjunction with Teen Challenge and other organizations that are actively involved in fighting the heroin and substance abuse epidemic.

Our goal is to help those addicted to heroin and other substances overcome the stigma that surrounds the addiction. Addiction is not a character flaw,  you can win the battle. Our goal is to see addicts healed and lives saved.

A portion of the proceeds from the sale of There Is Hope bracelets, t-shirts and other merchandise is given directly back to Teen Challenge to help in their efforts.

If you or someone you know needs help, we urge you to reach out to one of these trusted organizations below or contact us so you can be on your way to hope and to healing.
