Daily Devotions with davepettigrew - Season 26 - Episode 6 - Even the waves...

In Matthew 8, the disciples find themselves in the middle of a storm—waves crashing, winds howling, fear rising. And yet, Jesus is asleep in the boat. When they cry out, He speaks a word, and the storm is stilled.  Sometimes life feels like that storm—chaotic, overwhelming, impossible to control.

But the presence of Jesus brings peace, even when everything around us feels uncertain. Today we’re talking about learning to rest in His presence, trusting His power, and believing that no storm is stronger than our Savior.  

Maybe today we can live out that trust by laying down our fears, choosing faith over panic, and remembering that Jesus is still in the boat with us.
