When worry sets in, when fear starts to take over, when uncertainty clouds our minds—Psalm 56:3 gives us a simple yet powerful reminder: “When I am afraid, I put my trust in You.”
David didn’t pretend fear didn’t exist. He acknowledged it—and then chose trust. That’s our invitation too. To bring our fear to God instead of being ruled by it. To let trust rise higher than anxiety. To remember that the same God who carried David through every battle still carries us today.
Maybe today we can live that truth by surrendering our fears, choosing faith over control, and resting in the assurance that God is steady—even when we’re not.
