Our core verse is 2 Corinthians 7:1 that says this: "Since we have these promises, dear friends, let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God."

I found this quote as well: "We must clean ourselves up in both body and spirit. Since God lives in believers right now in the Holy Spirit, Christians must remove from their lives anything that is in any way opposed to God".
